Vital Signs Sensor Module
The TES 24GHz Vital Signs Sensor is a radar-based sensor module working in the 24GHz ISM narrow band. It has an extremely low noise figure and is optimized to detect vital functions such as breathing and heartbeat of human beings and animals. But also simple distance measurements can be performed.
It is based on the Frequency Modulated Continous Wave (FMCW) Radar Technology and a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 MCU for the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms measuring the difference of Inphase and Quadrature Component of the sampled Base Band signal.
It can be easily integrated into the customer’s system because of a very thin compact form factor of 70mm x 70mm x 6mm, various serial interface options and an Application Software API which enables customers to adjust and enhance the Signal Processing Software to their application specific requirements.
Features:
- Low Noise Figure: 3 dB
- High Antenna Gain: 20 dBi
- Low Power Consumption: < 1 W
- CW Solution (Dedicated for vital sensing)
- Low Phase Noise: 90 dBc/Hz @1 kHz
